HideJim joined Watertite Heating in 2022 having had a sabbatical from the industry.
Jim started his career working for Vicforge Air Systems, where he learned his trade, completed his HNC & HND in Building Services Engineering and worked his way up to become the “right hand man” of the business owner, before eventually deciding to start his own company.
Elliott Environmental Services Ltd was born in 2003 and had some quite close initial ties with Watertite Heating.
EESL successfully traded for 14 years and grew to become a specialist Air Conditioning & Ventilation contractor and they were frequently engaged by Watertite as a specialist sub-contractor.
In 2017, at the relatively young age of 48, Jim sold the company, as a profitable on-going concern, with a view to trying something completely different.
Five years down the line and Jim has decided that he wants to fully jump back into the industry that he knows best and Watertite are delighted to have convinced Jim that we are the company best placed to make the most of his undoubted talents.
We believe that our mutual strengths and weaknesses are perfectly aligned, and that our combined skillsets will be a significant overall plus to the company.
Jim’s appointment heralds an exciting new chapter in Watertite’s continued progression towards becoming one of the leading specialist Mechanical Contractors in the South West region.

HideLewis joined Watertite in 2014 and initially started training as a pipefitter.
Circumstances dictated that he incorporated some training as a Ductfitter also, and from then on, he quickly learned both skillsets and became adept at both sides of the Mechanical Services trade, frequently interchanging between departments. Whilst this is not unique, it is unusual, and ultimately this has led to Lewis having a greater understanding of all of our site-based activities.
Therefore when we recently decided that we needed an assistant manager within the Ventilation & A/C Department, Lewis’s name was high on the list of preferred candidates.
It is anticipated that Lewis will learn the management side of the business with the same dedication and enthusiasm that he has demonstrated throughout his career, especially under the tutelage of industry veterans Nigel Drury and Jim Elliott.
