The New Performing Arts Centre is a stunning, new building providing entirely new facilities for Music, a new home for Drama in the converted existing Music School, and a physical link to the Art Department. Joining all three departments is a generous foyer, providing prominent display space for art and a central meeting place for the whole school community.

Watertite Heating Ltd has carried out the supply and install of the complete Mechanical Services Package to this Cross Laminated Timber Structure (CLT), Heating to the building is via a Ground Source Heat Pump & Loop Array (provided by others), Plant Room, Commercial Plumbing and Heating Distribution Network, AHU Ventilation Systems (Heating & Cooling) to the Main Recital Hall, MVHR’s to Ancillary Areas, Natural Ventilation, BMS Controls, Above Ground Drainage and Sanitary ware.
Particular attention had to be paid to the service interfaces between corridor distribution pipework and ductwork and the acoustically treated perimeter classrooms.
